Focuslight High-Power Diode Lasers Prove Long-Term Performance

Xi’an, China – September 29, 2025 – Focuslight Technologies Inc., a global leader in high-power diode lasers and photonics solutions, has once again proven the long-term reliability of its products with a remarkable ten-year customer case.

An overseas medical equipment manufacturer recently returned a high-power diode laser purchased from Focuslight in 2015 for evaluation. After a decade of continuous operation in customer’s equipment, the unit was tested by Focuslight’s engineering team. Following routine window cleaning and inspection, results showed that, aside from a minor reduction in bar power due to natural aging, the laser continued to perform strongly across all key parameters—including wavelength stability, spectral quality, and near-field beam profile. Its performance degradation was found to be well better than the industry average.
